What is Debate?
The Jeux Du Commerce Debate format is a parliamentary-style debate where 2 schools face off at a time in a round robin competition. Each team is made up of 4 particpants:

| Prime Minister/ Leader of the Opposition | 5+3 minutes | First & Last |
| 1st representative of the government/opposition | 3 minutes | 2nd |
| 2nd representative of the government/opposition | 4 minutes | 3rd |
